Our JD Junior is developed on the deep tree of the JD and is designed for ponies and our younger riders. This seat has a more rearward balance point compared to traditional models. The tree is designed to provide greater support and stability to the rider’s position; it is slightly longer and features a wider twist. It is particularly suitable for those who prefer a more deep, and supported seat.
The innovative flaps, sized for young riders, are made entirely of doubled bull leather and, thanks to a series of technical cuts and holes, deliver an unprecedented feel, combining the stability and comfort of a double flap with the contact of a single flap. The front knee rolls are medium-sized (Q), allowing even the smallest riders greater leg support. Both front and rear knee rolls are equipped with Velcro attachments to allow choosing the most suitable support.
The panels are hand flocked and have a larger surface with reduced thickness to ensure optimal balance by reducing pressure points on the horse’s back and promoting greater contact. The panels are further tapered in the central and rear parts to allow better balance on ponies, known for their round and well-muscled structures.
This model, as standard, will always feature a two-tone stirrup leather keeper in Red and Silver and front and rear piping in a color different from the saddle:
- Black saddle: front and rear piping in Cacao. Black stitching
- Cacao saddle: front and rear piping in Dark Brown. Beige stitching
- Dark Brown saddle: front and rear piping in Cacao. Beige stitching
