Sara Morganti, born on March 21, 1976, in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, is an Italian rider specializing in para-dressage. Suffering from multiple sclerosis, she began her equestrian career with show jumping and cross-country. In 2009, she transitioned to para-dressage, achieving remarkable results. She won four world titles in para-dressage Grade I, holding the title until 2026. Additionally, she secured 33 gold medals at the Italian National Championships. At the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, she earned two bronze medals, marking a significant milestone for Italy. In 2024, she won the bronze medal at the Paris Paralympic Games, further solidifying her position among the world’s top para-dressage athletes.
